Building Language and Social skills required for head start learning in the classroom!
Being ready for school is so much more than knowing how to write their name or know their ABCs.. More teachers are reporting students beginning kindergarten without the confidence or language skills required for understanding multi-step tasks and following instructions. Exposing them to small, class-like settings in a fun, relaxed environment allows your child to develop these social skills through peer interaction and group discussions.

Our unique Playspace focuses on sensory and child development, curating imagination and creative play, which your child will recieve EXCLUSIVE access to!! Plus, our program offers weekly activities of science, STEM and creative arts, allowing your child to work in a small, group setting, expressing themselves through art and observing fun, engaging concepts. Forget worksheets - we are paving the way for a new generation of curious, creative and critical thinkers!!Our program is the FIRST of its kind, not only because of our unique Playspace, but through offering a full 10-week program that exposes your child to engaging concepts!!
A relaxed exposure to class-like settings and independence
Your child needs to feel confident without Mum - using a bag, lunch box and toilet alone! They need exposure to pulling out a chair and sitting at a table in a class-like setting. They need confidence to speak up in group discussions, ask questions and chat with peers!! Each week, your child will experience the opportunity to grow their skills in all of these in a small, intimate group! They will develop strong bonds with our staff and other group members!
Developing fine motor skills and spacial awareness required for pencil group and handwriting!
There is so much that needs to happen BEFORE your child can confidently write a pencil and write.. their hands need to know where they are in space.. their eyes and hands need to coordinate together.. they need the grip strength to hold and control a pencil to form legible words.. all of these things happen through sensory play and activities that develop grip strength, tracking skills and spacial awareness!! Play in our Playspace and activities like holding and using a paintbrush, manipulating play and pushing pipettes all develop very strong skills!
a safe environment!
Our program is run by Mums, all with young kids, offering a friendly, nurturing environment for your kids to feel safe. Our Playspace will be closed to the general public during the session hours, ensuring your children are absolutely safe. We will have strict sign in/out procedures. Our staff have WWCC and are all trained in first aid and CPR, with first aid kits on site and emergency plans in place.
Our approach

We believe kids have innate curiosity and creativity that needs to be nurtured!! we provide the space and opportunity for kids to learn through play, grow resilience and confidence, and most importantly a love for science and creating! At the end of our program, your child will have developed the motor skills, language skills and confidence to begin kindergarten!
